WTF, Teachers? by TheWickedKid WTF, Teachers? by TheWickedKid

I was bullied all through elementary school and all through middle school. There was a boy who ran around, calling me a buck-toothed beaver and smacking me on the butt, and the lunch monitors merely stood by, watching. When I told them what was going on, they said they would talk to him.

The next day it would happen again.

There was another boy who constantly followed me around, despite my asking him not to. First politely. When it didn't happen, I tried asking more forcefully. I tried asking the teacher to tell him to stay away, but she just said, "Oh, he probably has a crush on you," nevermind the fact that crush or not it was making me uncomfortable and I personally believe I have the right to feel safe at school. He would constantly sing the name game at me, or tell me why I owed him (which I now find hilarious because he tried in his earnest to by poetic about it).

When I hit middle school the bullying got far more sophisticated. I was not only isolated, but I was taunted for being Jewish. Especially since we had a holocaust unit, during which I was constantly told how Hitler was the coolest guy in WWII. And how he should have won. After a few weeks of this I snapped, and I hit a boy over the head with a book. So I was reprimanded, but his harassment went ignored.

In the eighth grade my things were constantly stolen and hidden from me. Off of teacher's desks; my Chorus teacher found my pencil case--which also had my money in it--under the chair. He put it on his desk and when I went to collect it after school, he went to get it for me. It was gone. I checked the lost and found, and all of the pencils--colored pencils and all--had been emptied from it. My drawings were taken off of my desks and made into paper footballs or fortune tellers. I would ask the teachers, but they told me I shouldn't be drawing in class anyways, so who cares if people are destroying my work?

And I was one of ten other students who received the exact same treatment from the exact same people. Teachers wouldn't help us. So as a WTF to teachers everywhere, why don't bullies get caught? You have all these anti-bullying regulations, so why not use them?

Or, forgive me if this is offensive, does that only count when someone's sexual orientation is in question? Or when their sexual activity is the question? Do theft and harassment and racial discrimination no longer apply?

EDIT: WHAT THE HECK, PEOPLE. D: How are you all even finding this?

Schools don't seem to realize to get rid of bullying, you get rid of the bullies, not the people being bullied

Don't even get me started in my bully experiences! I have Aspergers Syndrome and middle school was a living hell for me. Every day at lunch kids would try to steal my food, wish diseases on me, tell me disgusting jokes, force me to dance for their amusement , and at one point they even convinced me to take off my gym shorts because they were in backwards. I told the teachers and deans about this and you know what they did? NOTHING Not a damn thing. When The kids tricked me into taking my pants off a dean pulled ME aside and asked if I was trying to get attention from boys. When the kids forced me to dance the claimed I did it of my own free will. When the kids told me vile jokes the teachers gave me the age old "just ignore them" shpeil. Yet I always got in trouble for stupid things like my shirt strap wasn't three fingers long or some crap like that so I got written up for it. I wore opend toed shoes and got written up for that too. I snapped at a teacher and got lunch detention (to be fair that was more of a reward than a punishment) This went on until my mom pulled me out and now I'm in a virtual school. Thankfully things are better now but my burning hatred for those asshats still lingers in my mind.

Probably because the bully is usually the"good" kid with amazing grades or act all nice and innocent around teachers so they think "This kid seems perfectly fine. They get the best grades and are always willing to help someone in need!" or whatever. >.>

Gosh, I wish anyone caught bullying should be suspended, and if caught doing the same thing twice, expelled from school.

Funny, the bullies never get caught, but the victim, who had enough of the bullies' shit and stood up for themselves, gets caught.

OMG I want to know how far I should go back....let say in 6th grade (I normally don't swear but I will warn you that there will be course language)

I did have friends especially the one who was friends with me since 1st grade (still friends now) but this fricking asshole decided to pick on me, made me lose all my friends the one who was friends with me since first grade WAS FORCED TO HIDE HER FUCKING FRIENDSHIP WITH ME CAUSE OF THAT FRICKING ASSHOLE........Whats worse I try to tell the teacher but the asshole acted normal and the teacher didn't give a sh*t, I mean the teacher WORSHIPPED HIM If I told her what happened, all i get is "ignore him, ignore him FOR GOSH SAKE IGNORE HIM" 7th grade the year I graduate primary school got worse, everything remained the same and I got told that I'M THE BAD ONE, and that apparently "I lie at home" I just wanted to LEAVE THE SCHOOL, but my parents didn't let me.

First year of high school started off bad, up until our science teacher decided to put the asshole IN HIS PLACE, but my days remained bad, so I thought "screw this, what's the point in trying if that kid is just going to get worse" I went antisocial and whenever it was "happy ball time" I dreaded it and skipped it, the teacher was upset because I was mentally tortured by that kid

7th grade was awful. These group of boys never left me alone. Even to this day, they still bother me a bit, but not as much. Thank goodness.
